Standing Up to Bullies
I’ve spent my life on the front lines, from hospital rooms to 4th-grade classrooms. I’ve learned that whether it’s a playground or the State Capitol, bullies always use the same playbook: they target those they think won't fight back. In Austin, I won’t just be another vote; I’ll be a teacher who knows how to stand his ground. I’m going there to take back our communities future, call out the fouls, and make sure that the people of this district finally have a representative who isn’t afraid to look a bully in the eye and say 'enough.
Leveling the Playing Field
I know that the 'Texas Dream' is a hollow promise when multi-national corporations post record profits while we are paying more for groceries, housing, utilities, and insurance. As a teacher who works two jobs and a caregiver who has lived through the medical bill struggle, I see the system being rigged against the majority of us.
We need to stop giving billion-dollar handouts to corporate giants and start investing in our own neighborhood small businesses and families. Whether it’s lowering utility bills or stopping private equity from hiking the cost of healthcare, I’m going to Austin to level the playing field so every Texan actually has a fair shot to thrive.
Investing in Our Potential
In my 4th-grade classroom, I see our future every single day—but I also see the walls being built around my students by a rigged system. Greg Abbott, his elite donors and their politicians they have in their pocket like Jeff Leach pushed a voucher scam designed to suck the money out of our neighborhood public schools to fund private education for the wealthy few. I refuse to watch politicians steal my students', your kids, potential before they even pick up a pencil!
We need to invest in our classrooms, our teachers, and our retirees, not in corporate profits. I’m running because our kids deserve the very best we have to give, and I’m ready to fight for a state that treats our schools like the priority they are!
