Jordan Wheatley wants to get big money out of Texas politics. His vote isn't for sale to corporate political action committees or special interests. He didn't get into this race to serve them. He got into it to serve the people right in front of him. As a teacher, he buys classroom supplies with his own money.

Meanwhile, a billionaire gave Governor Greg Abbott $10 million to defeat Republican state legislators who opposed school vouchers, and the next year the Legislature passed a $1 billion private school voucher program, including for families already paying private tuition.

Jordan will work to close tax loopholes for large corporations while keeping Texas a good place to do business. In Texas House District 67, he will hold regular town halls so his constituents have a direct line to their representative.
