Jordan knows how hard families work to make ends meet. Growing up, he watched his parents struggle to provide for their family. Today, rising housing costs, property taxes, and healthcare expenses are putting even more pressure on Texans. He will fight for practical solutions that lower the cost of living and help families stay in the communities they call home.

He will advocate for property tax relief, including limits on home appraisal increases, while pushing the state to adequately fund public schools so the burden does not fall so heavily on homeowners. He also supports making it easier to build starter homes and preventing corporate investors from buying up and renting out new homes, pricing working families out of homeownership.

Texans who work hard should have a fair chance to afford a home in the communities where they live and work. Jordan wants the next generation to have that same opportunity.
